Ryan Pepiot was perfect, James hit one Out-man, Michael Busch was booming and the Loons look forward. There was a lot of great action yesterday on the farm, and we’ve got it covered.

AAA OKC Dodgers

OKC pounded out 13 hits, got a great start from Ryan Pepiot, big nights from Michael Busch and James Outman, and rode all of that to a 6-2 victory in Albuquerque Thursday night.

Watch Pepiot Deal

Great outing amidst what has been a great year for Ryan Pepiot. Pepiot threw 5 scoreless innings, & was 94-95 on the fastball and 85-86 on the changeup and slider, & had 8 Ks to just 1 BB. His ERA in AAA is just 2.59, his WHIP is just 1.08 & his K: BB ratio is 3.1/1.

Watch Busch get 2 hits

Michael Busch had 3 hits for OKC which marks the 11th time this year that he’s had at least 3 hits in a game, and his 39th multi-hit game of the year. Wow!

Watch Noda hit home run #21

If you want to see an impressive home run, play the video below. Ryan Noda hit home run #21 of the year and it was hit 106.6 and traveled 453 very happy feet.

AA Tulsa Drillers

Tulsa got 3 hits and no runs last night in a loss to Springfield, the AA affiliates of the Cardinals. I’m hoping the playoffs starting next week will give them a shot of energy and momentum.

Watch Pages hit another double

Andy Pages had another extra-base hit for Tulsa which is his 3rd in the last 2 games and 8th in his last 28 at-bats. During that stretch, he also has 13 RBIs and 25 total bases. Pages does damage!

Watch Yurchak get another hit

Justin Yurchak had another hit for the Drillers and has hits in 3 in a row and in 19 of his last 22 games.

Watch Zuniga hit 98

Guillermo Zuniga threw his 4th scoreless outing in a row and has an average against this month of just .125, a WHIP of 0.80 to pair with his 0.00 ERA for September so far. Keep finishing strong Guillermo!

High A Great Lakes

The fans packed it in at Dow Diamond on Thursday night and created an electric atmosphere, but despite that and a couple early scoring chances, the Loons got blanked 2-0 in the 2nd game of the best of 3 series with Lake County. The two teams will play again tonight in the 3rd and final game to determine the winner of the series.

Check out footage from the stadium

The atmosphere was electric and Austin Brubaker was there and was kind enough to shoot some video of what it was like. Make sure and head over to his twitter feed and give it a follow. He knows everything you need to know about the Loons.

Watch Ramirez in Action

Adolfo Ramirez gave Great Lakes a good start in Game 2 of their playoff series against Lake County. Ramirez went 3.2 innings and gave up just 1 run and had 4 K’s. Ramirez has an ERA this month of just 0.90, an average against of just .097, and a WHIP of 0.40.

Watch Belge in Action

Jeff Belge threw a scoreless 1.1 innings in relief for Great Lakes which is his 2nd scoreless outing in a row and 7th of his last 9. In those 9 outings, he has 21 Ks to just 5 walks. His avg. against this month is just .143 as well.

Watch Acosta deal

Aldry Acosta hasn’t allowed a run in 16 outings in a row which spans 18.1 innings. As impressive as that is, what he did last night was the most impressive, IMO, as he worked out of a bases-loaded jam with no outs dropping some wicked change-ups! Check it out for yourself!

Watch the Suarez slider

Christian Suarez was very impressive out of the pen for Great Lakes. Suarez is a 21-year-old out of Venezuela who was making just his 2nd appearance with the Loons in High A and both have been scoreless. Check out the slider, it’s legit!

Watch Ramos hit a triple

Jose Ramos was the offensive highlight for the Loons in their 2-0 loss to Lake County. Ramos hit his 10th triple of the year and put Great Lakes in a position to take an early lead.
