DePaula is Heatin’ Up-Dodgers Down on the Farm

The Dodgers lost every game in their system last night, so yesterday was just one of those days.

    AAA OKC

The OKC Baseball Club got blanked on just 6 hits, was 1-10 with Runners in Scoring position and had just 1 extra base hits. But, as always, there were some highlights.

    Click to watch Lipcius

Andre Lipcius had 2 hits for AAA OKC, which is his 6th multi hit game this month & 10th game that he’s had at least 1 hit in May. He’s hitting .354 so far this month & is hitting .320 for the season, OPS .979. This dude can hit & he plays everywhere, stay tuned!

    Click to watch Dodson

Tanner Dodson is a Roller Coaster ride, but his stuff is big & it allows him margin for error. For instance, 2 Seam was 94, but had an Avg. of over 2300 on spin & 4 Seam averaged over 2400, so perceived velocity to hitter is explosive. 1.50 ERA, Average Against of .197.

    AA Tulsa

The Tulsa Drillers feature the Dodgers #1 prospect in Dalton Rushing, but, point blank, they have been struggling. In fact, they are now just 13-21 on the season, have lost 3 in a row & have lost 10 of the 13 games this month.

But, there is talent and some great action to cover!

Click to watch Beck hit a Grand Slam!

Click to watch Davis Go Yard

Brendon Davis destroyed HR #3! He’s been in Professional baseball since 2015, so it’s easy to forget that he’s still just 26, and still has very good talent. .256 on the year, .279 this month. He’s played 2B, 3B, LF & RF, so very versatile.

    High A Great Lakes

The Dodgers lost to the Giants last night, but the highlight of the day came from the right arm of Reynaldo Yean, who hit 104 MPH on the Trackman system at Loan Mart Field. Again, this is not info that is coming from the stadium gun, it is coming straight from Track Man, so it is 100% accurate and legit.

    Click to watch DePaula

Josue DePaula hit his 1st HR & his 9th double last night for Rancho. DePaula is off to a bit of a slow start, but we’re only about 1/4 of the way through the year & his hit tool is too good, so no real takeaways from that. Good to see him gather hits & drive the ball.

    Click to watch Yean

Reynaldo Yean hit 104! That was per Quakes PxP, Mike Lindskog. Yean recorded his 3rd save & still hasn’t given up a run this year in his 11 outings. He has 19 Ks in 10.2 innings, 5 walks and his average against is just .059. This dude is insane how talented he is.

  • Ohtani Bombs, Cartaya Crushes, Rushing Rockets & More

Ohtani Bombs, Cartaya Crushes, Rushing Rockets & More

The Dodgers affiliates had a rough day, and lost at the top 3 levels. AAA OKC last 3-1 to Sacramento, Tulsa continued their struggling ways losing at home to Wichita 6-3 and the Great Lakes Loons have hit a rough patch as of late and lost last night 2-1.

“I Wish They All Could Be California” was a phrase that fit the action yesterday as both Single A Rancho Cucamonga & the LA Dodgers were the two teams that won their games.

Dodgers Down on the Farm 5-14

As always, there was some great action over the weekend and we’ve got it covered here on Dodgers Daily.

    AAA OKC

Click to Watch Ramirez in Action

Nick Ramirez threw a scoreless inning for AAA OKC on Sunday. He features a sinker, sweeper, change mix, and his sinker hit & sat 86. He threw a very quick Inning, so it didn’t leave a whole lot of data to gather from Sunday & he has just 7 AAA innings, but his ERA with OKC is just 1.80 so far.

Click to watch Ramirez in Action

Matt Gage threw a scoreless inning for AAA OKC on Sunday & had 2 Ks and a walk. Similar to Ramirez, he also has a very limited sample size (just 3.2 IP) wth AAA OKC, but hasn’t allowed a run yet. His 4 Seam hit 95.5 & he paired that with a cutter, slider & Sinker. His cutter has good swing & miss when he lands it in the strike zone.

Click to watch Lipcius in Action

Andre Lipcius went yard for the 10th time in 2024 to add to his .317 average, OPS .969. His Home Run was hit 98.9 MPH & traveled 390 very happy feet.

Click to Watch Gator in Action

Austin Gauthier is hitting .474 since his AAA promotion! PCL is hitter friendly because of high altitude locations, but he’s played at OKC & Sugar Land & neither are that. His K% & BB% are identical at AAA & his BB% was 5.5 points higher than K% at AA. His AA WRC+ was 161, and it’s 234 so far with AAA OKC.

    AA Tulsa

    Click to Watch Sublette

Ryan Sublette had a very impressive outing on Sunday with 4 Ks in his 2 IP. He also struck out the side in his first inning of work. Sublette has late life on his slider & his Fastball has an explosive last 5 feet or so.

    Click to Watch Cartaya

Diego Cartaya had 3 hits Sunday for AA Tulsa, including his 2nd Double & 2nd long ball. He’s off to a slow start, no doubt, and that’s after a rough offensive season last year, but he still has plenty of time & the same talent & elite work process he’s always had, so stay tuned.

    Click to Watch Choi

Hyun Il Choi got the win for AA Tulsa on Friday! He went 5.1 IP 6 H 2 R 8 Ks 1 BB. Remember, he was the 2021 Dodgers Minor League Pitcher of the Year, missed all off 2022 & most of last year to injury. And, he relies on pitchability, so will take a minute to completely fine tune everything. Starting to give length!

    High A Great Lakes

    Click to Watch Karros

Signs of a great pitcher are how they handle outings where everything isn’t always perfect. Today, Jared Karros was great on Sunday, but wasn’t as surgical as normal. But, as great ones do, he made BIG pitches to go scoreless and now has 19 scoreless IP in a row. 3 IP 1 H 0 R 4 Ks 3 BB.

    Click to Watch Nevin

Kyle Nevin had 3 hits on Sunday & ALL of them were on the Right Side of the field. Staying inside the ball makes adjustments easier & usually leads to consistency. Kyle Nevin has hits in 22 of the 29 games he’s played in, so how about that for consistency.

    Click to Watch Rojas

  • The State of the Dodgers Farm System

The State of the Dodgers Farm System

Prospect Rankings are fun, and we cover the top prospects lists, as the video above shows, but they’re not something we really use to evaluate each individual or group of players to evaluate MLB value. For instance, Jonny DeLuca, James Outman, Gus Varland, Nick Robertson, Jose Hernandez, Ryan Noda, Jordan Leasure, Ricky Vanasco are all guys we heavily valued at Dodgers Daily.

Rankings give guys publicity, and, possibly, increase value, so that’s a great thing, and something we highly endorse. But, there are so many more factors that are huge aspects of the Minor Leagues that an arbitrary ranking can’t cover.

For instance, most of the prospects that are talented enough to be put on a Top Prospects lists have likely never struggled much, at all. So, as they keep climbing the ranks in the Minors, and as the talent level increases, how will they handle the more regular failure they likely will experience.

Baseball is the ultimate grind, so how players handle the every day”ness” of it, and the type of teammate a prospect will be over 6 months, especially during the rough patches, is an equal parts factor as their physical talent.

At least, in the Dodgers organization it is, I promise you that.

Having said that, if you want a Top Prospects list to follow for the Dodgers, follow the one Bruce Kuntz puts out each year. Bruce knows talent, but, equally as important, he also sees these guys grind, so he also knows which guys have the daily process that will set them up for continued success.

So, let’s get to the system and talent that is up and down each roster.

Currently, in their system, the Dodgers have Ryan Ward, who has pretty much been on par with Andy Pages offensively all the way through their climb through the system. Ward doesn’t have the same throwing arm or potential to play CF as Pages, but he definitely does have the same type of hit tool.

Drew Avans tied the all time OKC record for triples and continues to be one of the better AAA players year in and year out, and Hunter Feduccia continues to be rock solid and very good at the catchers spot for AAA OKC. Miguel Vargas is doing what he’s always done to Minor League pitching, and is just waiting for his next opportunity.

The relief crop has as much top end potential as it’s had in a long time. Ricky Vanasco, Kevin Gowdy, Alec Gamboa, Braydon Fisher and Rooney are all guys that have been in the system for a minute, are in AAA, and, with opportunity, would be good MLB relievers.

The Dodgers also added Michael Petersen, who is approaching 100 MPH, Drew Pomeranz & Jesse Hahn to the fold, the latter 2 of which have MLB experience.

    Then the power arms!

Nick Frasso, River Ryan, Jake Pilarski, Juan Morillo, Reinaldo Yean, Edgardo Henriquez, and Madison Jeffrey, all are guys that can touch or exceed 100. Ryan, not quite 100 yet, but close.

Justin Wrobleski, Ronan Kopp and Maddux Bruns are all left handed, and all approach 100 MPH. And don’t forget, Jackson Ferris was added in the Michael Busch trade and he instantly entered the Top 20 list of prospects for the Dodgers.

Then, you still have guys that might not be prospects, but might as well be with the limited MLB exposure they’ve gotten, like Landon Knack, Kyle Hurt, Emmet Sheehan, Gavin Stone and Bobby Miller.

The Dodgers do have Prospect list sizzle too, headlined by Dalton Rushing, who is one of, if not the best catching prospect in the MiLB, And, this time last year, Diego Cartaya was one of the biggest prospects in the game, and he still has PLENTY of time to get things turned around. Last year was a struggle for him offensively, and the beginning of this year has been as well.

Behind Rushing you have Thayron Liranzo, who popped a 1.8 Thursday night and had a totally elite season last year and has big talent. Yeiner Fernandez has been in the Top Prospects list and he can catch as well.

Then you have Jared Karros, who has tremendous pitchability, Ben Casparius, who is touching 98 & has maybe the best bag of secondaries of all the pitching prospects, and Jack Dreyer is incredible, simply put.

Alex Freeland has as much upside, IMO, as almost any infield prospect in baseball. He has serious power potential and is using the Minor Leagues to learn how to put the bat on the ball more often. Noah Miller won the Gold Glove for SS last year, Trey Sweeney is going to be a good MLB offensive player, and the Dodgers also added Andre Lipcius in the off season, and he’s shown to have a good hit tool so far.

Jose Ramos is in the same “tools” mold as Andy Pages, just not the same walk rate and bat to ball, but same power, same arm, and with “likely” more range. Austin Gauthier was maybe THE best offensive player in ALL the Minor leagues last year and Taylor Young was the All Time hits leader in the HISTORY of La Tech and has maybe the highest baseball IQ of any player in the game. And he stole 56 bases last year.

Eriq Swan and Patrick Copen are both going to exceed 100 MPH at some point, and are figuring things out very fast at Rancho after being drafted last year.

Kyle Nevin and Jake Gelof both have Major league bloodlines, and both stay inside the ball as well as any hitter in the Minor Leagues. Both, injury not withstanding, WILL play in the Major Leagues, in my opinion.

Chris Newell and Damon Keith are both very strong, very toolsy and very fast outfield prospects that could both easily be the next James Outman, and Dylan Campbell swings a magic wand.

Michael Hobbs and Antonio Knowles both have ridiculously elite breaking balls, and Ryan Sublette and Noah Ruen both are unique in having 3/4ish arm slots. Sauryn Lao was just recently converted to pitcher and his slider and arm side movement on his fastball are both really good. He also has a great physical presence, his ball carries and he is a plus athlete. Similarly, Lucas Wepf has a unique motion and a big time competitive element and is very good.

Brandon Lewis led the entire Dodgers organization in Home Runs per at bat in 2021, and Bubba Alleyne was the B1G Player of the Year in 2002, so you know he’s filled full of talent. Austin Beck and Brendon Davis were recently acquired and both are fitting in like gloves.

Beck is over coming injury, but has a very quiet, but, yet, extremely powerful and efficient swing, and with the Dodgers instruction, could explode. Davis is a long rangy and versatile player that gives off some Willie McGee vibes in body type and hitting style.

Don’t forget about Ben Harris too, who had the highest K per inning rate in the Minor Leagues in 2022, and Brandon Neeck, Christian Suarez, Franklin De La Paz and Kelvin Bautista all have a really nice sweeping sliders as well.

Peter Heubeck and Jerming Rosario both have MLB caliber stuff, and are in the process of learning how to execute their sequences, which is their ONLY hurdle.

Orlando Ortiz Mayr, Christian Romero and Jacob Meador are in the Landon Knack mold in terms of execution and eating innings for his club, and Kendall Williams has the split change, and is very talented as well.

Wilman Diaz, Jordan Thompson, Logan Wagner and Sean McLain are all very talented infielders for the Quakes and Gabe Emmett has had periods of brilliance on the bump for Rancho Cucamonga as well.

  • Nabil Crismatt: The Road to LA

Nabil Crismatt: The Road to LA

Nabil Crismatt is a Right handed pitcher in the Dodgers organization that’s traveled a long and windy road to LA. Crismatt has played at the Major League level for 4 teams now, St. Louis, San Diego, Arizona & and, now, is super happy to have landed with the Dodgers. He’s also been a part of the Mets organization at the Minor League level, as well as the Mariners.

Crismatt seems to have fit into this organization like a glove, and there appears to be  several fairly obvious reasons for that.

One, he is very skilled, and, that always fits in. But, he’s also known to be very positive and loves being at the yard every day. He is a teammate that you want to be around for six months at a time, and when asked where he developed his positive vibes, this is what he had to say.

I don’t know man, it’s just something that, ever since I’ve started playing this game I’ve felt blessed. I put all my energy into the guys around me in being a good teammate, and to just be happy.

Every time they give me the ball I just try to control what I can control and go out there and compete and just have fun.

Dodgers Daily was able to catch up with Crismatt before a game in OKC, and he was kind enough to grant quite a bit of time. Here, he speaks about his long journey in the game of baseball.

    Nabil Crismatt/Photo by Ed Delany

It started in 2011 with the Mets, and I was with them until 2018 and made it up to AAA, so I spent all of my Minor League career with them. 2019 was my first time to be a Free Agent and so I signed with Seattle and I had a really good experience at Big League Spring Training with them.

But, then, things didn’t work out with them, so I became a Free Agent again at the end of the year.

    Crismatt continued about his journey

    Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

Then, in 2020, I went to the Cardinals and that’s where I got the opportunity to pitch in the Big Leagues for the first time, and it was amazing. I think I did a pretty good job with them, but, when the season was over I got DFA’d.

Crismatt speaks about becoming a Dodger

Photo by Adam Glanzman/MLB Photos via Getty Images

Then I signed with the San Diego Padres and that was a blessing. I made the team out of Spring Training and I was really stable as a Major Leaguer. Now I’m with the Dodgers and there are a lot of ups and downs and I feel like I’m getting to that point to where something really special is getting ready to happen.

Baseball is the ultimate grind and it puts one obstacle after the other in front of almost every player trying to make the Major Leagues. And, a lot of times, even more obstacles to stay once you get there. There are only 780 Major League roster spots available at any given time, and the best players from ALL around the WORLD are competing for those spots.

No one knows this better than the veteran Crismatt who hails from Barranquilla Colombia.

So, it’s those, and only those that just continue to keep grinding that eventually make it to the finish line. Crismatt gave some perspective on how he’s handled the difficulties of trying to become a Major Leaguer.

It’s just about controlling what you can control and going out every day and competing and doing the best you can do. I’m with the Dodgers now, but the game has taught me that I’m here today, but you never know where you’ll be tomorrow. It’s an honor to be with the Dodgers, and I hope I can finish my career with them, but, wherever god puts me, I’m going to continue to throw baseballs because that’s what makes me happy.

Crismatt came to the Dodgers as a Free Agent after he was DFA’d by the Diamondbacks. When asked why he chose the Dodgers, he had high praise for the culture and development of the organization.

Since I’ve been in pro baseball, it’s always been fun competing against the Dodgers. The Dodgers are a very competitive organization, and I’ve always been encouraged to come here  and learn about them.

It’s been awesome since Day 1, so it’s a blessing to be here, and I’ve learned a lot, and I think I’m putting everything together right now, and everything is going the correct way.

Crismatt continued about his experience with the Dodgers

So, I’m very happy about that, and I’m just trying to keep doing what I do, and take advantage when the chance comes again.

When building depth on their roster, one thing the Dodgers value very heavily is versatility. For those fighting to just make a roster spot, they have be willing to embrace any role the club needs, and, then, also, be able to perform when given whatever role it may be.

Crismatt has thrown 171 of his 174 Major League innings as a reliever, and, in today’s game, relievers have to be versatile in nature. He has experience working in every role from late inning high leverage to early inning middle relief type situations. He isn’t concerned with the role, just wants the chance to help at the Major League level in some way.

I’m that type of guy, I’m available for what the team needs in the moment. It doesn’t matter if they tell me 1 inning, 2 innings, to start the game or whatever, I’m flexible with all of that.

I just continue to try and find the best version of myself to get back where I want to be, which is in the Big Leagues.

    Feature Cut

Crismatt is the definition of a professional pitcher. He locates very well, moves the ball, has a big bag of pitches, and uses all of them in basically any count. He features a 4 seam fastball, a change up, a cutter and really good breaking stuff. Here’s what he said about where his stuff is at right now.

I feel really good right now. I think my command is getting better every time out, and this year I learned a cutter and it’s been working really good. I’m having a lot of fun right now because when you feel good you go out there every time and expect something good to happen.

What I’m trying to do now is just be consistent so I can help the Major League team win.

    Finishing Up

Wanna thank Nabil for joining for the interview that is linked at the top of this article. I did not know him, nor did he know me, but he makes you feel very comfortable with his very pleasant personality. And, also, he is very busy trying to become a consistent Major Leaguer, so it was more than kind for him to take time to talk.

Dodgers Daily has become a big fan of Nabil, and wish him nothing but the best of luck.

    AAA OKC

Click to watch Pages Drop a Bomb

Andy Pages had a Home Run and a double for AAA OKC in the 1st game of their Double Header yesterday. Pages is hitting .295, OPS .898. Unique ability to pull the ball & hit fly balls, while not striking out at really high rates.

    Click to Watch Sweeney

Trey Sweeney had 2 hits in the 1st game for OKC yesterday, to move his average to .333. One of my favorite swing planes, barrel stays in the zone for maximum length. Don’t be surprised at continued success for this dude, he can really hit, good athlete, versatile.

    Click to watch Hahn

Jesse Hahn made his 4th appearance yesterday for AAA OKC, going scoreless in 2 innings. 34 year old with lots of Major League experience, signed as a Free Agent in the off season to a Minor League contract. These are the types of guys the Dodgers LOVE to use as depth.

Click to Watch Vargas in Action

Miguel Vargas is an interesting hitter, because, when he’s going good, he pulls pitches on the outer half a lot, and then inside outs balls on the inner half. And, he’s done both of those things in the last couple of games, so things are headed North.

Very good start for Eduardo Salazar. Touched 96.7 with his Sinker, sat 94.4 & paired that with a slider, 4 Seam & a slider that had 54 inches of vertical break, 42% Whiff rate. 5.2 IP 6 H 2 R 2 Ks 1 BB ERA is now 2.87 in 2 starts.

Bubba Alleyne wasted no time attacking last night. Had 2 hits left handed and one from the right side. Super excited to see him play at One Ok, because there’s a lot of things he can do on a baseball field. 2022 B1G Player of the Year.

Great to see Jack Little on the mound after missing 2022 & not ramping up for good until the middle of July last year, due to recovering from Tommy John. 2019 5th Round Draft Pick out of Stanford that has great “run” to miss barrels, good carry, and a really nice change.

Click to watch Sublette in Action

Ryan Sublette is another “under the radar” reliever that is unique, and is very, very good. Side slot, but stays behind the ball, and always has him emotions under control, but, at the same time, insanely competitive. Put his name in your Rolodex!

Click to watch Rushing go Yard

Dodgers fans, get used to seeing this, Dalton Rushing went yard for the 2nd night in a row. This one was to dead center. The thing about this Home Run, is how it kept carrying, which shows his strength, and just how hard he hits the ball. Atta Baby Dalton, Keep Crushin’!

Click to Watch Buehler in Action

The AAA OKC Baseball Club got started last weekend and there was a lot of exciting action, highlighted by the Rehab outing of Walker Buehler.

Buehler gave up 3 runs in 3.1 innings, but that’s nothing to worry about. The Focus for guys on rehab is simply to get reps, stay healthy, and get all the “feels” back. Buehler threw 2 scoreless innings to begin his rehab outing, then ran into trouble in the 3rd, then the 4th. He gave up 3 Earned runs in 3.1 innings, but touched 95.2, and had a full arsenal. Main thing is,

Landon Knack gave AAA OKC a great outing on Friday! 5 IP 3 H 0 R 0 BB 6 Ks He used all 4 pitches, 4 Seam, Change, Slider, Curve, very effectively. He touched 93.8, which was effective considering he landed his curve 60%, slider 62%, so it all played well together. Plus it was chilly!

J.P. Feyereisen threw a scoreless inning on Friday. Hit 91.6 on the 4 Seam & slider had big movement. Another AAA reliever that is on the 40 man, and will be back up at some point, so keep your eyes on him.

Click to Watch Gowdy in Action

Kevin Gowdy was very impressive in his outing Friday. Moved the ball left and right & did so with velo that was over powering swings. This dude has as much momentum as any prospect in the org. IMO.

Click to Watch Vanasco in Action

Ricky Vanasco SAT 95.2 & paired his big fastball with his even bigger Curveball that had an 80% whiff rate. This dude was unhittable to end last season, then went scoreless in 3 innings in Spring Training, avg. against was .111. This dude is really, really good.

Click to Watch Avans do Avans Things

What a weekend for Andre Lipcius! Lipcius went 5 for 9 with a double, 2 Home Runs, 5 RBIs & 4 runs scored. The Dodgers picked up Lipcius from Detroit, after they had DFA’d him. The Dodgers signed him, put him on the 40 man, then DFA’d him again, now he’s in AAA.

  • Who Will Make the Opening Day Roster?

Who Will Make the Opening Day Roster?

The Dodgers made their 1st round of cuts on Sunday, which began the trimming and shaping of their 26 man roster. Talented Outfielder, Andy Pages, was the big surprise, at least to some, but it actually was simply a formality.

    And, here’s why.

The Dodgers will carry 13 position players on their roster. Shohei Ohtani, Austin Barnes, Will Smith, Freddie Freeman, Kike Hernandez, Gavin Lux, Max Muncy, Miguel Rojas, Chris Taylor, Mookie Betts, Teo Hernandez, Jason Heyward and James Outman are guarantees, and that’s the 13 that were always going to be rostered.

And, of that list, Will Smith, Gavin Lux  and James Outman are the only players on that list that have Minor League options available. Rostering all 3 of those players is beyond a no brainer, especially considering that Outman recorded a WRC+ of 118 last season and a WAR of 4.4. He’s also hitting .429 so far in Spring Training, with an OPS of 1.485.

So, unless the Dodgers would be willing to DFA one of the other players on that list, there just simply is no room for Andy Pages, and there never was going to be. Unless injury opens the door, which none of us want, like it did for James Outman last year when Gavin Lux tore his ACL.

    Pitching

The Dodgers will also carry 13 pitchers, but this side of the ball is where there actually is some competition. Ryan Brasier, Tyler Glasnow, Brusdar Graterol, Joe Kelly, Bobby Miller, James Paxton, Evan Phillips, Blake Treinen, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Ryan Yarbrough are guarantees.

Of that group, Bobby Miller and Brusdar Graterol are the only pitchers that have Minor League options, and, short of injury, they are both guaranteed to break on the 26 man roster.

So, that leaves 3 spots for the following pitchers.

J.P. Feyereisen, Matt Gage, Michael Grove, Daniel Hudson, Kyle Hurt, Landon Knack, Emmet Sheehan, Gavin Stone, Ricky Vanasco, Gus Varland, Alex Vesia and Justin Wilson.

The Dodgers favor veterans, so, although he’s not on the 40 man roster, Daniel Hudson has a great chance at making the roster. In fact, I think it’s likely that he does, and as soon as all of the 60 Day ILs are executed, he’ll have opportunity.

The Dodgers likely wouldn’t break with just one left handed reliever, so Alex Vesia would likely be added, then it would come down to one of the prospects, or less experienced pitchers for the final spot.

That is, unless the Dodgers use Ryan Yarbrough as a starter.

If they do that, then that opens the door for J.P Feyereisen, because needing a 5th starter wouldn’t have to be the final part to the equation.

So, the biggest competition to watch is who gets those final 3 pitching spots. And, as you can see, this organization has a lot of depth, so there is no way for them to go wrong with whichever way they go.

  • Andy Pages: One to Watch

    Andy Pages: One to Watch

    One to watch

Spring training has started, and Dodger fans are getting a good look at right fielder prospect Andy Pages. Pages has burst on the scene like James Outman did last year and is making the case on why he should make the 26-man roster.

In four games this spring, Pages has 15 ABs, 7 R, 6 H, 2 HR,
    8 RBI, 5 SO, .400 AVG, .500 OBP, 1.000 SLG, and 1.500 OPS.

In July 2023 while playing with the Dodgers OKC Triple-A team, Pages injured his shoulder and was out for the remainder of the season. It was unclear if Pages would be ready for Spring Training, but with his youth and dedication to come back Pages has reported to Spring Training in the best shape of his life.

Jason Heyward only signed a one-year deal in 2024, so Pages can take advantage of the situation and rake in OKC this year to make it difficult for the Dodgers organization to not bring him up in 2025.

Keep an eye on this twenty three year old outfielder, he has the drive and skills to be a big contributor and possible gold glove winner for the Dodgers organization in the near future.

For Dodger Daily, I’m Mike Salas
