Ching-Hsien Ko had 2 hits last night for Ontario, both to the opposite field, and his last double was MUY impressive. Dude stays inside the ball exceptionally well, and knows how to hit the ball VERY hard to the opposite field. Pull-side is generally gonna produce higher exit velos, no question, because the barrel travels further and creates more momentum. But, hitters that can generate hard hit balls to the opposite field have the "great hitter" advantage, because, by letting the ball get deeper, they cover the plate better. Throw it on the outer half, they serve it the other way. Come in on them, and they inside/out the ball the other way. They also can handle changes of speeds and late movement better than a hitter who times everything out front because they give themselves a longer window to track the pitch, pick up spin, etc. Ko is a big dude, too, and is a very good athlete, and he's off to a smokin' start. He's hitting .31, with an OPS of 1.239, and he has 4 multi-hit games in the 6 that he's played. Rolodex Alert on this dude! #dodgers #dodgersprospects

Hyun-Seok Jang...LFG! Last Night 4IP | 3H | 0ER | 4Ks | 0BB Dude gave the Tower Buzzers a GREAT long relief/piggyback outing, flashing his typical ++ changeup, which you see in the last pitch of this inning. Check out the right turn. He pairs that with a good fastball in the 96 range, a 4-pitch mix, and GREAT size. Jang also features a curveball, then 2 different-sized sliders, so there's a lot to like. #dodgers #dodgersprospects

Kendall George had ANOTHER multi-hit game last night for Tulsa, and, guess what, they were base hits through the left side, something he's mastered. In fact, last year, close to half of ALL of his 125 hits were ground ball hits through the left side. George has 8 multi-hit games, has hits in 13 games, he's hitting .411, with an OPS of .971, he's walked one more time than he's struck out, his OBP is OVER .500, and he's scored 17 runs in 14 games. I mean...HOLY WOW! On the first pitch of the 2nd game, he squared to bunt, which drew in the 3rd baseman, then he used that to spike 3 hits through the left side. Home runs are fun, his style of game is FUNNER, IMO. #dodgers #dodgersprospects
Kendall George is ELECTRIC!
Zyhir Hope had 2 hits for Tulsa in the 2nd game of the doubleheader, neither one was totally clobbered, but they ALL look like line drives in the box score. Hope is on a 3-game heater, going 8 for his last 13 with an HR and 4 RBIs. Much of the reason for that is that he's taking his hits to the opposite field and using the big part of the field (gap to gap) very well. The pullside power hasn't shown up this year yet, but as he continues to get comfortable at the AA level, you would have to think it will. Especially considering that OneOk, where Tulsa plays, has a short porch to right field, and the wall in right field is just 4 feet tall. #dodgers #dodgersprospects
Zyhir Hope is on a HEATER!
Adam Serwinowki was, well, Adam Serwinowski today! 6IP | 2H | 0R | 8Ks | 0BB It's been a bumpy start for the big lefty, but that was always gonna have a term limit, and that limit just expired. Big Ski was TOTALLY dominant, flashing the big breaking ball, a tremendous fastball, and great locations. Serwinowski created momentum for himself, and he never gave it back, and it was almost as if he didn't even realize there were hitters in the box. Because it didn't matter. Because, no matter who was in front of him, it wasn't about them, because as he executed, they had NO CHANCE. It's called being "in the zone", "flow state", or whatever you want to call it, Serwinowski defined it today. Atta Baby Adam, many more of these to come, my man, that was fun to watch. #dodgers #dodgersprospects
